When does the hazard environment rate apply?
A flat rate of $500 per hour, per person applies in dangerous environments: temperatures outside 0°C / 32°F to 37°C / 100°F; confined spaces, underwater work, or extreme height or weight; direct exposure to extreme energy systems such as high voltage, high tension or pressure, or high RPM; and dangerous failing systems caused by corrosion, operational stress or extreme energy events.
What information should I have ready?
If you can, have the equipment's model and manufacturer, its approximate weight and size, any part, serial or lot numbers, and whether you have the manufacturer's schematic or manual. Let us know about any modifications made to the unit. Our service request form walks you through it.
